It was a heartbreaking decision not to host the 11th annual MBSC in-person this summer, due to the spread of COVID-19, but we are grateful for the opportunity to connect and share music with you all online! Our hope is to make the virtual experience as meaningful as possible by maintaining our level-based classes, community-building activities, the ever-popular Elective Classes, as well as nightly play-along jams, and performances by both faculty and students. All students this year will be together in the ONLINE TRACK, and when you enroll, you will gain access to "Member Only" pages of this website, which is where we will share elective class options, and Zoom meeting links to all the classes. Students will even be able to create a profile and connect with each other through our member directory. :) In order to facilitate participation from across US time zones, as well as Europe, our classes will be held between 1:00-5:00p ET, plus nightly activities, totaling over 26 hours of experiences to choose from. It will be during the same dates as originally planned: July 6-11, 2020.

We have level-based group classes catered to Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels, from professional players down to 10-year old beginners, as well as amateur adults, college students, high schoolers, and middle schoolers. We serve students playing all bowed/picked/plucked string instruments, of any stylistic background.
Tuition Cost:
$250 per student
$350 per household (with multiple students)

Mike Block String Camp is an annual summer workshop for string players of all ages and backgrounds, focusing on non-Classical traditions and contemporary musical styles, with emphasis on learning by ear, creativity, collaboration, and performance.
Begun in 2010, MBSC provides level-based classes catered to college students, amateur adults, kids, professionals, high schoolers, and middle school students. Our students include locals from Vero Beach, as well as those who travel across the country, and across the world, joining us from China, Singapore, Australia, Sweden, Germany, Portugal, Canada, New Zealand, and more.
